Welcome...
...to the IAV Military Home page. We are glad you came to have a look at us! If you have even a remote interest in Military aviation this is the place. Whether you are just interested or actually in the Forces we can provide experience and expertise from staff who have flight experience with Britain’s Royal Air Force. If you want to get right into the danger zone, use our fast-track sign up at the bottom. Let us give you an insight into what we do...
The IAV Air Force is a higly trained band of pilots who operate in the highest standards of realism, something which we pride ourselves on. We have an incredibly realistic training program and structure in to which all of our pilots are sorted. We also pride ourselves on the levels of equality and diversity in our midst. We do our best to make sure everyone is excepted and are able to fly to the highest of standards.
Our best pilots may then go on to fly for the illusive QRA detachment. These guys are the crème de la crème of our pilots and fly operations of a similar nature to the Quick Reaction Alert pilots of the RAF and of other forces that use NATO Regulations on ROE and escalation processes. They have had extra situational training and are given challenging tasks to fly. This branch is always looking for new pilots and you may one day end up there.
We are all based out of set bases strategically placed across the globe to ensure maximum world coverage.

The aircraft we fly are based upon - what would be - a realistic fleet. The Military pilots are all given the chance to specialise in a certain type of aircraft such as fast jet, transport, ISR (Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance) and other roles. They then fly their speciality aircraft mainly but still have access to the rest of the fleet.
